As reported in previous articles, a research project (<a title=\"Research project \u201cEquivalent thermal conductivity warm edge\u201d\" href=\"https:\/\/www.warmekanteberater.de\/en\/research-project-equivalent-thermal-conductivity-warm-edge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">see article here<\/a>) has given a new, measured basis for the BF data sheets \u2018Psi-values for windows\u2019 (for more info about those data sheets see <a title=\"Psi data sheets for windows updated\" href=\"https:\/\/www.warmekanteberater.de\/en\/psi-data-sheets-for-windows-updated\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this<\/a> article). ift Rosenheim has published a description of the measurement method in a second guideline for thermally improved spacers, WA-17\/1 (<a title=\"New ift-guideline Thermally improved spacers\" href=\"https:\/\/www.warmekanteberater.de\/en\/new-ift-guideline-thermally-improved-spacers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">see article here<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>End of July, part 1 of the ift-guideline to this matter, WA-08 \u201cThermally improved spacers \u2013 Part 1: Determination of representative \u03a8-values for profile sections of windows was updated and published with the number WA-08\/2. With the revision, the determination of the \u201eall-inclusive\u201c-input value for spacer including desiccant and butyle, the so-called \u03bb<sub>eq,2B<\/sub>-value (2-Box-Lambda-value) was incorporated in the guideline. Now, this measured value determination is an admissible method for the simulation of the representative \u03a8-values for the BF data sheets.<\/p>\n<p>The ift-guideline can be ordered <a title=\"ift-Richtlinie WA 08\/2\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ift-rosenheim.de\/shop\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a> in German language.
